Lighthouses have always held a romantic notion in the hearts of all of us who love them.  I could just imagine a mariner's wife anxiously waiting for her husband's return from the sea.  He never came back.  She is forever destined to look out to sea for him.

MACKINAW BRIDGE

This beautiful bridge spans the Straits of Mackinaw in Northern Michigan.  I pictured this mother and daughter from the early settlers discovering the site as it looks today.
